Blanket Making

Spend the day with Good Shepherd friends making blankets for graduates and others—sewing, sharing fellowship, having fun, and of course enjoying good food.

  • New friends are always welcome.
  • No special skills needed; if you can laugh, tie a knot, or cut with scissors, you’ll fit right in.

 

Intergenerational Service Day

  • We will assemble treat bags for the Palm Sunday Egg Hunt
  • Restock busy bags for worship
  • Make tie blankets for The Landing in Rochester, supporting people experiencing homelessness.

 

Sunday Morning Adult Ed

1st Communion Training

Parents and students attend one session to learn about the sacrament of Holy Communion.

  • This prepares families for First Communion on Maundy Thursday.

Tuesday Afternoon Bible Study

Over the next few months, our adult Bible study will explore the theme “Where Two or More Are Gathered,” reflecting on how God is present and at work in our relationships.

 

Palm Sunday & Church Breakfast

  • 9:00 AM: Worship
    • During worship, the Sunday school children will share a special song!
  • 9:30 AM: Breakfast
    • Pancakes, egg bake, rolls, fruit, and so much more!
  • 10:15 AM: Egg Hunt
    • Please bring your own basket.
    • In case of bad weather, the egg hunt will move indoors.

  • Coffee shops will be hosted by youth after worship on the second Sunday of the month.
  • Sweet rolls, flavored coffee, and hot chocolate will be offered.
  • Money raised will support the Youth programs, including the summer trip

 

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Join us as we head out on a camping adventure with God at Campfire Faith: God Is With Me!

  • Children currently in PreK through 4th grade may attend with a caring adult.
  • Students in 5th grade through adulthood are invited to serve as leaders.
